Roland DG Direct-To-Film Printer Ink and Powder Receive ECO PASSPORT Certification
Irvine, Calif. – Roland DGA Corporation, a leading provider of wide-format inkjet printers and printer/cutters, announced that the ink and powder for the Roland DG VersaSTUDIO BN-20D, a compact Direct-To-Film (DTF transfer) printer, have acquired OEKO-TEX® ECO PASSPORT certification, an international standard that guarantees the safety of textile products.
OEKO-TEX® consists of independent institutes in Europe and Japan, with offices around the globe, working to achieve the highest standards of safety and sustainable production worldwide. ECO PASSPORT, an independent certification system that certifies chemicals, colorants and textile auxiliaries in use in the industry, verifies each ingredient to ensure it meets the statutory standards and is safe for human health.
The BN-20D desktop inkjet is a printer that can print DTF on cotton, polyester, cotton-polyester and denim garments. It also prints DTF on nylon, rayon, nylon-polyester and cotton. It works in combination with other system components – specially formulated S-PG inks in CMYK and White, S-F164 direct transfer film, and S-POWDER – enabling users to create high-quality custom T-shirts and sportswear quickly and easily. BN-20D Direct-to-Film Transfer Process requires only four simple steps. No masking or weeding is required. The wide range of capabilities of the BN-20D and its excellent efficiency has been highly evaluated. This has resulted in worldwide attention in the apparel decorating industry.
