Midthunder usually works with a stylist to dress events, but Yaamava Fashion Daze gave her the chance to work with Jamie Okuma directly. The first Native American designer admitted to the Council of Fashion Designers of America had a rack of clothing ready for the actress. The weekend was so fast that I had no time to take pictures. [my stylist] Midthunder: “Isabella, Jamie invited me to backstage, where I was able to see all of the beautiful pieces that she displayed. I loved her work, so it was incredibly easy for me to say yes.”
The dress [and] She continues, “I was immediately drawn to the leggings from Jamie.” The colors, the cut and the overall feel of it all felt perfect for what I like about her designs. It felt honest and true to what I am comfortable in.
