Solopress Launches New Colors for Foil Printing

Solopress has expanded the range of colours available for foil printing. These new colours include Bright Gold and Turquoise as well as Red, Green, Turquoise, and Black. They join Gold Rose Gold and Silver which are part of Solopress’s offering since 2019.

The Essex-based printer uses Konica Minolta’s JETVarnish 3DS technology to apply the coloured foils, followed by a sealing coat of UV varnish for added shine and durability. This allows them print large amounts of foil or fine details as small as 0.5mm.

Print products benefitting from the new options include Flyers & Leaflets, Business Cards, Greetings Cards, Postcards, Invitations, Brochures and Presentation Folders.

We felt it was time to expand our range and offer more colours after the success of foil-printed products. With Christmas approaching, we’re hoping customers will embrace the new options and add some colour and shine to their seasonal print.

Foil printing requires that customers provide two layers of artwork. One to indicate the foil area and one to include the rest of the design elements to be printed in a conventional manner. Solopress has a video tutorial for foil printing on YouTube and a written guide on how to order foil print.

The new foil options can be explored at www.solopress.com/foil
