Paragon Customer Communications further expanded its offering after snapping up Williams Lea’s three CCM sites in the UK, which collectively generate sales of £40m and employed 425 staff… Long-established UK label printer TW Parker (Paper), which traded as Parkers, fell into administration with supply issues caused by the strike at UPM cited as one of the reasons for its failure… Eight Days a Week Print Solutions expanded its team with the appointment of two senior sales leaders who formerly worked at YM Group, Rob Moules joined the Nottingham firm as sales director, while Mark Foskett became business development director… DMG Media started printing Weekend in-house after the collapse of YM Group’s web division forced the media group to pull forward its plans to produce the title on its own presses… Agfa swooped to acquire Inca Digital Printers from Screen in a move that had numerous ramifications in the wide-format inkjet market… Paragon Group expanded its nascent packaging business with the acquisition of Dean Packaging… Web-to-print software developer and printer Print Evolved continued its strategic growth programme with the acquisition of VR Print in Tonbridge… Leeds-based Olympus Print Group was acquired by Hamburg’s All4Labels Global Packaging Group…
